More on AMAZON challenging Etsy

  •

I recently posted a link to an article announcing that Amazon was challenging Etsy by creating their own Homemade marketplace.

Since then, information has been coming in from members and I think its important before anyone jumps the gun to read the fine print.

Rudolph Molnar has applied and has a 4 week waiting period to hear back.

Sandra McEwen said "I read on another facebook post that the Amazon agreement for this marketplace includes them owning for eternity all the rights to anything you post for sale. They could manufacture your designs and just sell them without you... (grain of salt I can't find the original post...)

If anyone else has further information about the contract for artists, please let us know.

I will keep you updated as I find out more.
