The Enamelist Society as just published an article about how to photograph Art without glare. The art that the author photographed was an oil painting with a shiny surface. He showed how to photograph the oil painting so that there was no glare.
I don't think that this article is that much help to enameliists In our photographs, its a good idea to show enough glare so that the glass surface is apparent. This is not easy. My own attempts have been hit or miss.
I welcome a discussion about how to photograph enamels so that the glass surface is apparent but there are no hot spots (white areas).
